Clear bottles and containers
The principal product of the industry is container glass produced using clear glass. Clear glass containers are used to store a wide range of beverages and foodstuffs, including alcoholic beverages, mineral water and soft drinks, processed and preserved fruits and vegetables, and sauces, spreads and condiments. The segment also includes specialist glass containers such as flaconnage, which are decorative glass containers used to store cosmetics, perfumes and pharmaceuticals.
