The South West
The South West region accounts for the majority of industry establishments, with an estimated 37.5%. There are over 25 cider producers in Somerset alone, including many small, independent producers. Major producers in the area include Thatchers, Brothers Cider, Gaymers and Aston Manor's Tiverton facility. Gaymers Cider Company was acquired by the C & C Group in 2010.
